Caddyshack Peace Tea and Lemonade

Peace Tea - Caddyshack Tea and Lemonade
Following in the footsteps of the great Bill Murray, Peace Tea’s Caddyshack Tea and Lemonade blend is a nod to the great Arnold Palmer and a less energetic version of Monster’s Rehab. For those who like lemon in their tea, you’ll like this as the lemonade tends to overpower the tea taste. I prefer more of a 60% tea to 40% lemonade, which is called “The Bessinger”, but most large beverage companies have not picked up on that new drink yet. Only those ‘in the know’ know about The Bessinger.
Hansen Beverage Company’s Peace Tea is similar in size and price to Arizona Iced Tea. They both come in 16 oz aluminum cans that sell for 99 cents, but the designs, which were created by artist John Malloy, seem to be created to appeal to the hippies in all of us. Beverage companies like Hansen have a long history of creating products specifically meant to be bought on impulse at convenience stores and the artwork definitely helps make that decision for some.
